Digital X-Rays

Murphy Family Dental provides digital x-rays for diagnosis and treatment for countless reasons.

Digital x-rays provide a significantly lower dose of radiation than conventional x-rays.  They are superior diagnostic tools because the image can be enhanced and manipulated, which often means a retake can be avoided as well.  They can be easily emailed to specialists, consultants, and to the patient if requested.  They do not have to be “developed,” but are instantly available to the dentist, who can view them with the patient right in the operatory on the computer monitor.

Our doctors would never go back to conventional x-rays – digital x-rays make their lives easier and help them provide better care for their patients.  And that’s what it’s all about!
