Shane T Murphy DDS

Shane Murphy is Dr. George’s oldest son. Dr. Shane was born in Alaska and spent his early years here.  He is a graduate of his father’s alma mater, the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio, with a DDS degree.

At Murphy Family Dental he has a particular interest in dental surgery, including the removal of wisdom teeth and the placement of dental implants. He shares his father’s commitment to excellence, along with his friendly manner and winning personality.

He and his wife, Dawn, moved back to Alaska from Texas in 2004 and Dr. Shane joined his father at Murphy Family Dental. Shane’s family now includes a young daughter, Ava, and a son, Austin.  He enjoys the Alaskan outdoors – hunting, fishing, skiing and biking.
